In 1985, I started learning Photography by myself. Later went for a Week course at Oswald Edwards and K.T.Rao School of Photography. Soon I took to Professional Photography. I invested in a Nikon FM1, Nikon F3, Hasselblad 500cm, Mamiya 645 and Mamiya RB 67 and jumped headlong into practice. After 3 months of rigorous self practice I put my works in front of the Ad Agencies. I started getting work. I was also given the responsibility of total photography for a fashion monthly by name of ‘Vogue INDIA’ in 1987 published by the Bastawala Family.
